Two teams that appear to struggle in the scoring department, the Beavers and New Balance match up well with each time having only 9 of a possible 26 points so far this year and managing only about 2.5 goals a game.  However, New Balance has been competing in the more difficult D1 League.

• Poddy, team captain, coach and GM, was among the league leaders in scoring a year ago.  He broke out of his 4 game scoring funk with a goal against the Decepticons a week earlier and could be a determining factor in turning the Beavers woeful season around.
• Poncho has been a surprise play maker this year on forward with 11 assists, second in team scoring, but needs to use his big shot more as he is only on pace for maybe 2 goals this year if he's lucky.  He is on a 5 game point streak, tied with Tucker for a team season high.
• Teabag enters the game with a respectable 3.67 GAA, but not low enough with the team only averaging 2.5 GF per game.  He's made 184 saves and got is save percentage to a lofty 0.803.
• Rat has more penalty minutes (11) than points (8).  
• Turk has scored 5 of his 6 goals in 2 of the 11 games he's played this year.  
• Paddy has been plugging holes and averaged a point every other game.  
• Beer Burglar is the first player in the leage to get 4 minors in a game and not get kicked out
• Hammi... has played some solid D

• Fournier is grumpier than ever
